My father use to say - "When in an economic crisis - you must use your natural talents and cater to the rich".
He should know, as he has seen four recessions in his lifetime. He has lost jobs during economic downturns as well - but he managed to pay the mortage without fail. My dad has used all of his skills as a handyman, artist and golf guy - to bring in money throughout the years. I remember one year, when his job had forced him into a corner, he made stain glass lamps to sell to rich people. He also learned to make golf clubs and at age 75 became a master golf club maker. He is still bringing in money being a creative and handy person, and this is a good thing, as pensions are thin and costs are high.
So - my question to you all is this...
What can you tell my businss students to motivate and encourage them during this time of economic crisis, so that they can make money?
Thank you in advance
