China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM) is a state-owned enterprise in charge of administrative affairs in building material industry. It was incorporated in 1984 upon the approval from the State Council and is a holding company. It is one of the 191 large-scale groups under the administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.

New China Building Materials Academy founded
On June 30,
a ribbon – cutting ceremony for founding of China Building Materials Academy (CBMA) was held in Diaoyutai State Guest House. Leaders from State-owned Assets of Supervision and Administration of State Council, Ministry of Science and Technique, Chinese Academy of Engineering as well as chairman of CNBM Mr. Song Zhiping attended. Manager of CNBM MS Yao Yan presided over the ceremony.
CBMA was consisted of 12 R&D or design institutes. It has over 3,000 scientists and engineers, including 1200 top-notch experts in the country. It also boasts 3 units nation’s development centers, 2 national engineering centers, one productivity center, 3 key national laboratories, 25 national and sector quality surveillance and certification centers and 9 national standardization committees. All of above make CBMA one of the largest and best R&D centers in China.

Wind –Powered Generators Blades Base Set Up in Lianyungang
It was the mark of wind-powered generators blades largest production center’s beginning of China Composite Materials Group Co. Ltd since CNBM started its construction of an industrial park in Lianyungang in South China. The Park wouldl be built in two phases with a planned capacity of 1000 blades a year. The first phase of the project with a construct area of 80,000㎡. It was expected that the production would be brought out in the year, which would have the capacity of 500 sets a year. Blades for wind-powered such generators bigger than 1.5 mw will be developed based on German technology.

Another big challenge is to build its badly managed road system throughout Sumatera region and the rest of Indonesia. Its highway and maritime requires massive investments in trillions of dollar in USD term. This assessment has not being added to the survey made by this Energy Minister, Bapak Purnomo Yusgiantoro
